Trekking in Nepal is a wonderful experience, but if you go there during the rainy season (July-August), be prepared to encounter leeches. Nasty little bastards. I later learned that rubbing the juice from chewing tobacco on your body is a cheap and effective defense. Good to know.
lyrics
Got too many leeches crawlin on my shoes
Got too many leeches crawlin on my shoes
Got so many leeches that I don't know what to do
Get em off, just get em off
Got too many leeches hangin on my clothes
Got too many leeches hangin on my clothes
Got so many leeches that I don't know where to go
Get em off, just get em off
Where's the salt? Where's the matches?
I'm gonna burn these bastards down to ashes
Get em off, just get em off
Got too many leeches suckin on my skin
Got too many leeches suckin on my skin
Got so many leeches that I don't know where to begin
Get em off, just get em off
Get em off, just get em off
Get em off
